- You could try using shapeshifter and GifBuilder. A very easy to use util
- for macs. Drag and drop gifs onto it and it also lets you specify
- transparency colour, interframe delay, load in a common pallete etc.

-
- Any of the fancy web stuff I do over on the mac side nowadays. Photoshop
- really is THE graphics proggy to use ;) The PhotoGif plugin is so cool
- and lets you use an alpha channel mask as the tranparent area rather
- than just a sinlge colour, avoids those nasty transparent bits in the
- middle of pics. Can't do gif anims yet though. ;(
-
- Also if there are any programmers reading this check out this message
- and port it over to the amiga !!!

- I've released my multi-image gif (animation) software as both source code and
- as (untested) binaries for many Unix platforms. The URL is:
-
- http://www.msg.net/utility/gifwhirl/
-
- This is a tool to take several GIF (Compuserve's Graphics Interchage Format)
- files, and concatenate them into a multiple image animation. The program
- can add GIF control sequence to define transparency, inter-frame delays,
- and add the Netscape 'loop' extension to force the sequence to repeat.
-
- I've only tried the program on Unix systems, but I see no reason for it
- not to work on DOS or other command-line systems. I'd particularly appreciate
- receiving binaries for MS-DOS, NT, OS/2, or Amiga systems.
-
- If you create any interesting (yet small) animations with this software, or
- have suggestions (or better yet, source code :-) for future versions, feel
- free to contact me.
